Yes. Add up to 12 adults, children or babies. Each traveler has their own clothes, travel documents and age-specific suggestions, while shared essentials are counted only once.

Can I make a carry-on-only packing checklist?

Yes. Choose carry-on only to reduce unnecessary extras and label bags appropriately. The tool does not verify airline-specific size, weight, battery or liquid restrictions; check those yourself.

Does the packing planner use live weather data?

No. Choose the expected climate manually, then confirm a real forecast separately near departure. No weather subscription or API is required.

Can I save, reuse, or transfer my packing list?

Your one active trip saves locally in this browser. Export a JSON file to preserve all travelers, items and checked status, then import it on another device. Browser storage is not cross-device synchronization.

Can I share a packing list with someone?

Share snapshot generates a self-contained link when the checklist is small enough. Anyone with the link can see the embedded details and edit their own copy; changes will not update your list. A JSON export is best for large checklists.

Can I export to Excel or a spreadsheet?

This free travel packing list generator combines trip duration, expected weather, laundry access, baggage type, planned activities and household members into an editable checklist. It is designed for family vacations, weekend trips, winter travel, beach holidays and business trips. There is no signup or paid travel API.

How suggested quantities are calculated

Clothing counts are estimated from your days away and laundry access. For example, on a 14-day holiday with weekly laundry, packing about a week of basic clothing may be more sensible than 14 sets. A carry-on-only trip uses fewer optional backup layers. These quantities are suggestions, not rules: adjust them for your habits, climate and personal needs.

Separate travelers and bags

Each adult, child or baby can have personal clothing and essentials. Shared items, such as basic medical supplies, are counted only once. Set an item's bag as personal item, carry-on, checked baggage, another bag or a pre-trip task. Filtering by person, bag or status makes it easy to find exactly what remains to pack.

Seven-day beach trip example

Choose seven days, hot weather and a beach activity to add swimwear, sun protection and warm-weather clothes. Select laundry every three days and the proposed clothing quantities decrease. Add a child to create their own list, then customize or remove suggestions to match your family's real travel plans.

Check your actual passport and visa requirements, bookings, insurance, emergency contact details, prescriptions, destination weather and flight baggage rules. This planner does not provide current regulations, airline size or liquid limits, medical advice or a live forecast. Always follow the requirements of the carrier, airport and government involved.
