How to use this tool
Choose a rotation, set the real start date of cycle day one, and browse your upcoming day, night and off days. Tap a calendar date to mark a swap or leave. Adjust hourly pay assumptions, then download ICS for calendar apps, CSV for spreadsheets, or use Print to save a PDF.
Quick steps
- Choose a work rotation and select the real calendar date that corresponds to cycle day one.
- Review upcoming shifts, adjust your shift times and pay assumptions, and tap any date to mark leave or a swap.
- Export an ICS or CSV file, print a PDF, share a private schedule-only link or save a JSON backup.
Practical tip
Verify your cycle's first date against a real published roster. Night shifts and weekends are classified by the shift start date; actual payroll policies and daylight-saving time can differ. Backup JSON before switching devices.
Common questions
How do I make a 4 on 4 off shift calendar?
Select 4 on / 4 off and set cycle day one to the first day of your work block. The 8-day cycle repeats automatically across future months.
Can I plan 2-2-3, 24/48 or rotating nights?
Yes. Select the 2-2-3 (Panama), 24 on / 48 off, 48/96 or alternating 4-day / 4-night preset. Custom rotations use D for days, N for nights and O for off.
Can I export the schedule to Google Calendar, Outlook or iPhone?
Download an ICS file and import it into the calendar app. Events use local clock times, not a fixed universal time zone. CSV, printable output and JSON backup are also supported.
Does the pay estimate calculate exact take-home wages?
No. It estimates gross earnings from scheduled hours, entered rates, selected bonuses and a weekly overtime threshold. Taxes, breaks, employer-specific policies and daylight-saving clock changes are excluded.
Can I share my calendar without publishing pay rates?
Yes. Copy Share schedule to create a read-only snapshot link that omits your hourly rate, bonuses and overtime parameters. The receiver can edit a separate local copy; there is no live collaboration.
